They’re important for both of us as they set out what we expect from each other, and they also give you helpful info. You can also find out more on our Help pages (which also form part of these terms). Of course, if you need anything else, get in touch with Customer Care– we always love to hear from you!

We keep these terms and Help pages updated and we amend them every so often, so remember to check back in before you shop, as the latest set will apply.

To shop with us, you need to:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • have a credit or debit card or a payment method that we accept (see bottom of page for details of current payment providers); and
  • be authorised to use that credit or debit card (e.g. it is in your name or you have permission to use it).

Just FYI, some of the goods sold through our Websites may not be suitable for under 18s.

We collect personal information about you in order to facilitate your transaction and for purposes otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to provide all of our services or products to you. We may also disclose your personal information to recipients that are located outside of Australia.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

  1. how we store and use, and how you may access and correct your personal information;
  2. how you can lodge an enquiry regarding the handling of your personal information; and
  3. how we will handle your enquiry.

If you would like any further information about our privacy policies or practices, please contact our Customer Experience Team. By providing your personal information to us, you consent to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of that information as described in the Privacy Policy and these Terms.

We may collect your personal information in relation to your interactions and transactions with us. This includes: visiting our website, saving an order in the shopping cart online, placing an order online; making a non-cash payment by way of payment cards or gift vouchers; participating in a promotion, competition, or survey; registering for services; using related digital services. We may monitor and record your communications with us, including email, telephone and social media interactions for security, dispute resolution training and service enhancement purposes, and we also operate video and audio surveillance devices in our premises if you visit us. We may also collect personal information from third parties including public sources, information service providers, providers who enable processing your transactions with us using your payment cards, and from anyone authorised to act on your behalf.

We may hold personal information electronically and in hard copy form where necessary, both at our own premises and with the assistance of our service providers. We implement a range of measures to protect the security of that personal information. We also take measures in respect of destroying or de-identifying personal information that is no longer needed for any lawful purpose.

We may use your personal information in connection with providing, administering, improving and personalising our products and services. This can include processing payments, delivering orders, managing promotions, providing refunds and discounts, verifying your identity, communicating with you (including direct marketing), conducting product and market research, maintaining and updating our records, dealing with enquiries from you, and working with our service providers. Using personal information, we endeavour to improve our understanding of your interests, suitability and behaviour in relation to products, services and offers.

We may also use your personal information to protect our lawful interests. We may provide marketing communications and targeted advertising to you on an ongoing basis by telephone, electronic messages via email, social media, other digital services and other means. These communications may relate to the products and services we provide, and other products which may be of interest to you.

We are not liable to you or anyone else if interference with or damage to your computer systems occurs in connection with the use of this website or a linked website. You must take your own precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use from our website is free of viruses or anything else (such as worms or Trojan horses) that may interfere with or damage the operations of your computer systems. We may, from time to time and without notice, change or add to the website (including the Terms) or the information, products or services described in it. However, we do not undertake to keep the website updated. We are not liable to you or anyone else if errors occur in the information on the website or if that information is not up-to-date.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

Our Website, and our products and services may be restricted to specific geographical locations and may only be available to individuals in those specific geographic locations.

When you place an order, you should receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. We then carry out a standard pre-authorisation check to make sure there’s enough money on the card.

We only accept your order, once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card (and then the contract is made based on these terms).

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Don’t worry, if there’s an issue with an order, we’ll get in touch with you.

Very occasionally, we may need to refuse or cancel an order or close or freeze an account (even if we have previously confirmed your order) – e.g. if we notice something unusual on an order or an account or if your order goes against unit limits as detailed on the product display pages of specific products. If this happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please don’t take offence – get in touch with Customer Care and they’ll be happy to speak to you about it.

By placing an order through our site, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and you are residing in Australia.

Depending on what kind of order you had placed, you may be able to cancel (not change) some of your orders.

For example, one-off purchases and the first order of a subscription purchase cannot be cancelled. Future orders based on a subscription plan may be cancelled before the subscription renewal date.

Change of Mind Cancellations may not be applicable to all products/services offered by us, (for example, for products that are manufactured on demand after you place an order). Some services may require a minimum notice of 48 hours prior to order cut off mentioning your intention to cancel your order where cancellations are allowed, especially with Subscription Boxes.

You can’t change one-off purchases and the first order of a subscription purchase cannot be cancelled.

Future orders based on a subscription plan may be changed before the subscription renewal date. Minimum spend applies on all orders, including those on subscription plans.

Should an order based on your subscription plan fails to meet the minimum spend requirements after you change the order or the accompanying parent subscription plan, we reserve the right to suspend fulfilment of your order and wait till you place another other that meets the minimum spend requirement. We will do our best to fulfil your order in such cases, by waiting for another order from other customers in or around your suburb.

All prices quoted by Us are in different currencies based on the domain you are visiting (for example, prices at  https://tasteville.com.au are in Australian Dollars). The price of the Products and our delivery charges will be as quoted on the Website from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.

If we discover an error for any goods you’ve ordered, we will tell you ASAP and give you the option of reconfirming your order (at the correct price) or cancelling it.

If we can’t get in touch with you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you’ve already paid, we will refund you in full.

Display of Prices may include or exclude Tax depending on the domain and geographic location the domain applies to.

Depending on the value of your order or the delivery option or address you choose, delivery costs may also be charged. Such additional charges will be clearly shown during the checkout process and included in the ‘Total Cost’.

We may change Product prices and delivery charges at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

Payment for all Products must be by credit or debit card, or an approved payment method shown at Checkout.

When you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personal identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, email, and delivery address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and CCV). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on how we collect and use your information.

We have periodic changes to items offered and also the stock of the items offered. The item which you ordered may not be available in stock until it is added to our stock.

With Express Checkout you’re giving permission for Tasteville to securely store your credit card details to enable a faster transaction for your future orders. The security of your personal information is important to us. We never permanently store complete credit card details. We follow accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Next Day Delivery is available within select locations in select metros in select countries only, and only while delivery slots are available. Additional Delivery fees may apply.

Free Delivery, when available, is available as a special offer, for limited periods, for select customers, in select areas only.

We are always looking for ways to provide a great customer experience, and as such, we often run promotions and giveaways. For certain campaigns, promotions or contests, additional terms and conditions may apply. By participating in such a campaign, promotion or contest, you agree to the relevant terms and conditions applicable to that campaign, promotion or contest. In case of any inconsistency between such terms and conditions and these terms, those terms and conditions will prevail.

Tasteville exercises the right to end promotions at any time with no prior warning. Promotions and offers generally end at 11.59pm Sydney Time unless otherwise specified, or the offer has reached its cap prior to this time.

From time to time, we may give you Promo Codes that you can use to reduce the price of specified products. Remember, it’s up to you to enter the code at checkout!

Each Promo Code has its own terms, which will be made clear at the time it’s issued to you (e.g. what products, single/multiple use, when it can be used etc).

Unless we tell you otherwise, Promo Codes can’t be used to buy Gift Vouchers. Promo Codes may be limited to specific domain or subdomain(for example, a Promo Code may be valid at https://tasteville.com.au but not on https://orders.tasteville.com.au)

If you’re given a unique Promo Code that is meant just for you (e.g. a student Promo Code) please keep it secret and don’t let anyone else use it or abuse it (e.g. don’t post it on social media). If we think there is or has been misuse of a Promo Code in any way (e.g. selling it or sharing it with others), we can cancel your Promo Code and/or suspend or even close your account without telling you.

If a Promo Code can’t run properly because someone or something is spoiling the fun for everyone – e.g. fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else that is beyond our control that affects the running or fairness of the Promo Code – we can cancel, modify or suspend the Promo Code.

Promo Code usage is 1 code per order per customer. If you forget to use a discount code, you will need to cancel and redo your order with the discount code applied. Tasteville does not refund the difference in cases of forgetting to use a discount code.

Please take note of Promo Code expiry dates (where shown) and any other terms (e.g. new customers only; minimum spends). Tasteville will assess expired Promo Codes on a case-by-case basis.

If you’re the lucky recipient of a Tasteville Gift Voucher or Tasteville Gift Card (high five!), Congrats! A few points to bear in mind:

It’s best to lock your Gift Voucher or Gift Card to your Tasteville account ASAP to keep it safe.

Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards can’t be used to buy Tasteville Gift Vouchers.

If you’re being super generous and buying someone else an Tasteville Gift Voucher, please make sure you get their email address correct! If you get it wrong and the Gift Voucher is emailed to someone else who uses it, there’s not much we can do. Check, double check and even triple check before you buy it.

Speaking of emails, sometimes pesky (but useful) spam filters send our emails into junk or spam folders. So, if you’ve not been thanked for your generous gift, it’s worth giving them a nudge because there might be something wonderful waiting for them in their junk or spam folder!

Gift vouchers bought with the US as the browsing country do not have an expiry date. Gift vouchers bought from a browsing country outside of the US will expire 3 years from the date of receipt.

Tasteville reserves the right to cancel any Gift Vouchers in its sole discretion where fraud or misuse is suspected.

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from Tasteville containing your order details to the email address used to place the order. Delivery addresses and the day of delivery may not be altered once an order has been placed.

Unfortunately, Tasteville cannot give or adhere to a request for a specific delivery time. If we offer a delivery window and if you have chosen a delivery window, the same will be your ‘preference’ for your order to be delivered within the window. All deliveries would be delivered to your doorstep. You agree for us to leave your order at your door unattended.

Tasteville strongly recommends that you or your nominated person is physically present at the time of delivery to collect your order. Tasteville accepts no liability for the loss or deterioration of any goods once they have been delivered in accordance with the customer delivery instructions (at the front door / back door etc.,) and our terms and conditions, whether you accept the delivery in person or request us to leave the delivery unattended.

Tasteville will not be held liable for any financial or physical damages of any kind. Tasteville will not replace or provide a refund for any products ordered by the customer by mistake.

Tasteville reserves the right to change or alter delivery days and cut off periods without notice.

At times of high demand, or when ingredient availability is affected by adverse weather, some items you ordered may not be in stock in time to fulfil for your delivery.

Check out our returns and refunds policy here.

Returning an unwanted item

We get it, sometimes something just doesn’t work for you and you want your money back. For most eligible items, as long as an item is still in its unused, unopened original condition, in most cases we accept returns for free, subject to the rules below, which includes rules around Fair Use.

Ready meals and other temperature sensitive products are not eligible to be returned.

If you return an item requesting a refund within 28 days of the item being delivered to you or available for collection, we’ll provide a refund or a store voucher to use against future purchases, at our discretion.

We aim to refund you within 28 days of having received the returned item into our warehouse.

If you request a refund for an item during the above time frames but you can’t return it to us for some reason, please get in touch – but any refund will be at our discretion.

Returning an unwanted item after the expiry of time limit

We don’t accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return after 28 days, we may have to send it back to you and ask you to cover the delivery costs.

Returns/Refunds Claims for Orders using Buy Now Pay Later payment options

If you’ve placed an order using a Buy Now Pay Later payment option such as Afterpay/Zip/Klarna, you’ll be paying for your order in regular instalments or within 30 days of it being placed. If you return an eligible item within 28 days of it being delivered to you or available for collection, we’ll give you a refund or a voucher towards a future purchase, at our discretion.

Proof of postage

We strongly recommend you get proof of postage and follow our returns process when returning eligible items. Our returns address may vary for each country and state.

Items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons

Hygiene and your and all of our customers’ safety is super important, so certain items can’t be returned for refunds including:

  • Face + Body products if opened, used or protective seal is not intact
  • Underwear, Swimwear, Pierced Jewellery etc.
  • None of this affects your statutory rights.
Original condition

Tasteville follows a sustainable business model, and almost all Merchandise Items including Apparel and Accessories items that has a print or embroidery on it are manufactured on demand after an order is placed. There items cannot be returned for change of mind, or size mismatch. They can be returned only if they are obviously faulty.

All eligible returned items should be sent back to us in their original condition together with the original packaging and all Tasteville and brand tags.

Footwear (excluding printed or embellished footwear that are manufactured on demand that cannot be returned for change of mind or size mismatch) – only try on footwear on carpeted floors to protect the soles. They must also be returned with the original box (if any) and original any shoe or dust bags (if any).

All items are inspected on return. Of course, it’s fine to try an item on like you would in a store, but don’t actually wear or use it. When trying on clothing please be careful with the item (don’t use unnecessary force) and don’t wear make-up, perfume, cologne, deodorant or antiperspirant as these can mark and leave scents on the item.

If an item is returned to us worn, used, damaged or in an unsaleable condition, or where the above instructions have not been followed, we won’t be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you and ask you to cover the delivery costs. Alternatively, we (at our sole discretion) may choose to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of an item.

None of this affects your statutory rights.

Fair Use of Ordering Process

If we notice an unusual pattern of returns activity that doesn’t sit right: e.g. we suspect someone is actually wearing their purchases and then returning them, or ordering and returning loads of items – that is, way more than even the most loyal Tasteville customer would order, or the items returned don’t match what you ordered , or where we refuse multiple returns by you (see ‘When we may withhold issuing a refund’ below) – then we might have to deactivate the account and any associated accounts. If this happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please get in touch with Customer Care and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

If your account has been deactivated and you need to make a valid return, contact our Customer Experience Team. They’ll give you a returns label although you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

Please note, we reserve the right to take legal action against you if the items you return don’t match what you ordered.

This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

When we may withhold issuing a refund

We will refuse a return:

  • if the items are not eligible for returns for change of mind or size mismatch (for eg., items that are manufactured on demand); or
  • on grounds of hygiene (see ‘Items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons’ above); or
  •  if an item has been damaged, soiled , washed, altered or worn, or if the original tags or labels are no longer intact and/ or attached to the relevant item (see ‘Original Condition’ above); or
  • if the item(s) returned to us do not match what you received; or
  • If you have returned items after expiry of the returns period (see ‘Returning an unwanted item’ above).

If we refuse a return for any of these reasons, we will not issue you with a refund or a voucher, and we may send the item(s) back to you at your cost. If you attempt to return a refused item a second time, we will dispose of the returned item in a responsible way and we will continue to withhold a refund.

In certain cases, for example where we have had to refuse multiple returns by you, or there are suspicious circumstances relating to the return, we might also have to deactivate your account and any associated accounts (see ‘Fair Use of Ordering Process’ above).

If any of the above happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please get in touch with our Customer Experience Team and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our Return & Refunds Policy covers refused and returned orders due to system error, customer error, and/or driver inability to safely and correctly deliver an order.

Tasteville will not be held liable to any financial or physical damages of any kind. For any delivery or product issues or feedback, please contact our Customer Experience Team. Photos of the product and / or delivery are required to assist in our investigation. For minor complaints, a voucher code may be offered in lieu of a refund at our discretion.

The title in the Products will pass to you from the time of delivery.

Tasteville strongly suggests that you consult your Doctor prior to using or consuming Tasteville products. For food products, it is the customer’s responsibility to refer to the Ingredients of each product before purchase. Products that have nutrient values mentioned in Nutrition Information Panel are average values and may change subject to seasonal nature of ingredients used.

Tasteville often modifies the recipes based on ingredient availability, ingredient quality, changes in costs, customer feedback and other various factors. These modifications are mostly aimed at improving the recipes and nutrition in our products. It takes time for such changes to flow on to the Nutrition Information Panel on printed packaging. In such cases, updated nutrition information will be available on our website first. We recommend that our customers check our website for updated information before consuming any of our products and if in doubt, contact us via our website or via email to get them clarified prior to consuming our products.

While Tasteville takes all due care to keep allergy prone ingredients out of certain products, please be aware they may still be present.

Tasteville accepts no liability whatsoever to any allergic reaction experienced by a Customer as a result of using or consuming a Tasteville product – this also applies to expecting mothers.
